the previous reviewer who said female voices were strange is obviously a little harsh in her judgement. I found no problems with the narrator.

Plot leaves a lot to be desired as all knowing all seeing all powerful aliens can’t capture a truck driver a girl and now seek help from a nerd. Weird.

I very nearly bypassed this audiobook because of its title and cover but was glad I didn't. The story is engaging as are the characters, who are varied, have depth and develop in response to what's required of them. Pleasingly little macho crap or sexist stereotypes but they really need to do something about the audiobook's cover artwork which suggests otherwise.

not bad ,fast paced ,highly unbelievable story line but entertaining, won't be buying the series as books are too short for a credit !

The narrators female character impressions make every female sound like an abrupt, snotty 10 year that is angry at the entire world. It's just bad. All male characters are good though, as well as the aliens.

The book is good, not amazing but not bad, I'm somewhere between 3-4 stars for it. But since I'm picky and there are a lot of things that did bother me, I go for 3 stars. Some of the plot doesn't make sense and there is a lot of weird just too easy stuff happening, too much is unexplained and I would prefer more information.

wasn't sure at first but the narrator is pretty good and the story flows well. it was a bit confusing during the first few chapters to ascertain just when this is set but I got over that quite quickly. I've already bought the next 3 books and I'll finish those as quickly as I finished this

A story which grows into itself culminating in a 3 tiered character led tour de force. Plenty of action with aliens which are violently disgusting with vampiric tendencies.
Not your run of the mill story with plenty of intrigue for the next saga.
Excellent narration, not heard this gentleman before, well done.
