Very engaging and educational. Perfect for kids, but beginners of any age can benefit from it! The information is presented in a way that will keep kids' attention, but the narrator also does a great job of keeping it engaging. Overall, this is a fantastic resource for kids who want to learn about how to care for horses and the responsibility that comes with it. Highly recommend!

What I like about "Horse care for kids" by Daniel A. Hart is the great narration and all the information that it gives about caring for horses. Kids get a chance to discover the different types of breeds of horses, their behaviors, how to feed them, groom them and what is essential to keeping them healthy. There is also a fun quiz and a nice glossary of terms as well. This is a fine book to educate your kid about horses.

For those kids lucky enough to be able to ride horses, this book is full of important steps on how to train your young equestrian in the basic steps of horse care, riding, and management. It teaches the kids responsibility and kindness, as well. They will learn basic anatomy, the types and breeds of horses, the names of the different types of equipment, and how to use them. How to groom their horse and proper nutrition ( you can actually use this same technique with self-care for the kids, too). In all, a collection of wonderful lessons for these young riders. Worth listening to!

My sister was the family's equestrian, so I listened with her during a cookie-making session. We both agreed that the audiobook provided beginner-friendly information to help young riders have a safe and enjoyable experience. We really enjoyed how it encouraged families to spend time outside together, exploring nature and developing respect for animals. Two thumbs up for this audiobook.

This was a really fun listen. I listened to it with my granddaughter on a road trip. She is unfamiliar with horses, other than picture books. She was memorized and started quizzing me at rest stops/gas refills! From horse birthdays and measurement of heights, all sorts of anatomy facts and the detail of how to care for them was astounding. I am afraid she will ask for a pony for Christmas!!?? For a horse officianoto this is probably not appropriate, but for the uninitiated, this is totally necessary and fun. Thanks for a great listen!
