Six years ago, Evie Cormac was discovered, filthy and half-starved, hiding in a secret room in the aftermath of a shocking crime. Now approaching adulthood, Evie is damaged, self-destructive and has never revealed her true identity.

The boy who survived.

Forensic psychologist Cyrus Haven, a man haunted by his own past, is investigating the death of champion figure-skater Jodie Sheehan. When Cyrus is called upon to assess Evie, she threatens to disrupt the case and destroy his ordered life. Because Evie has a unique and dangerous gift - she knows when someone is lying. And nobody is telling the truth.

Good Girl, Bad Girl is an unnerving psychological thriller from one of the greatest crime writers of today.

Addictive listening.

i was looking for the narrator Joe Jameson as I love his work on The Undead and I must say that this book is brilliant. Totally hooked from the first few minutes.
Would certainly recommend.

I hope that there is a follow up book.

Evie would prefer no follow up, her secret kept safe. Cyrus and I want to know more and you will too by the end of this book.

Not classic Robotham but good enough

Robotham is a master. I desperately miss the old characters of Joseph O'Loughlin, his side kick Ruiz and the girls but this comes close.

You really can't beat this master of crime thriller.

More please ...

Good book, excellent book.

I loved the Joe o’Loughlin series of books by Mr Robatham, so for him to start a new series with a new psychologist is a tall order, but I think he has pulled it off.

The Cyrus and Evie scenario reminds me of Luther and Alice or Blomkvist and Lisbet Salander, so I am liking the interaction and direction that this may go in.

Joe Jameson is a fabulous narrator and his array of voices and tones were superb.

Lastly, despite not being a big lover of psychological thrillers I am looking forward to starting the next in this promising series.

Intriguing & gripping throughout

Thought the narration was great - even though I would have preferred two narrators, but the male narrator still did a great job for the female character. Story was interesting with lots of twists. Kept me engaged!
