Within it’s genre, this may even be a 4* book. I am rating it based upon my wide reading/listening. I’m mostly a crime fiction girl. It’s a fairly predictable tale, but a good light read. The characters are all really engaging and it’s easy to care about them.

Overall well constructed yarn. Held my interest but think aimed at a young audience. Excruciatingly ditzy at times. Some genuinely comical pieces. Narrator very good except for her method of portraying a male voice - which irritating to listen to.

LOLoud a fair bit- but far too " girly" for me.

The plot was fine, if slightly predictable for the most part. The description was far too full of clichés and didn't really work - it was trying too hard to be funny bit missed the mark. The narration was clear but some of the male voices came over as very dull.

I have ditched soaps in favour of audio books and this book is a winner I would recommend! Fantastic!!! This book is funny, really relatable and a great story. The story is well told and made me giggle.

I have picked this book for a personal reason - as, from the summary of the story, I was hoping it can motivate me to start running. The book itself was actually nice, there were few irritating qualities of the main character, but I suppose this was making her more human. The only negative, which made it very hard for me to finish this book was a voice reading the story! Few times I almost gave up on this book due to that voice! Some people are just not meant to narrate stories!

Overall, a good light book, I definitely recommend it to read - or to listen, if you can put up with the voice narrating this story.
