Letting go of the pressure

From Perfectionism to Happiness really spoke to me. It was comforting to hear someone explain the pressure to be perfect in such a real and relatable way. The advice felt doable and not overwhelming, which I appreciated. I especially liked the parts about self-compassion and how perfectionism can affect relationships—I hadn’t thought about it like that before. The tone was kind and reassuring, and the narrator had a calm, steady voice that made it easy to listen to. I came away feeling lighter and more hopeful

Gentle Push Toward Letting Go

I listened to this while folding laundry and found myself nodding along more than once. The narrator had a soft and steady voice that made the message feel comforting instead of overwhelming. The advice about self compassion and letting go of the need to always do things perfectly really stuck with me. It reminded me of when I used to stress over every little mistake at work and miss the bigger picture. This book helped me slow down and be a bit kinder to myself.

This book opened my eyes to see me.

By listening to this book I was able to see myself, My self awareness has increased and I have been shown ways to make me a person people would enjoy being around. I definitely need to work on emotional regulation when it comes to interacting with my husband and family. I do believe things are supposed to be done right; but we don't have to make people feel bad because they did not do it right. Any way... This book is filled with useful knowledge. Check it out.
