DIVIDED BY BLOOD.

IMPRISONED BY FATE.

BOUND BY DESIRE.

WELCOME TO THE INTOXICATING WORLD OF THE FAE.

Yeeran is a warrior in the elven army and has known nothing but violence her whole life. Her sister, Lettle, is trying to make a living as a diviner, seeking prophecies of a better future.

When a fatal mistake leads to Yeeran’s exile from the Elven lands, they are both forced into the terrifying wilderness beyond their borders. There they encounter the impossible: the fae court.

it was enjoyable but not great. narration of Lettle sounded like a whinging child not an adult plus Yeeran sounded like urine.

Agree with a number of the other reviews in that the world is engaging, but the plot twists little predictable. Would have enjoyed more had the narrator not given some of the characters cloying voices, most of which faded and merged into one towards the end.

Little disappointing

Nice little fantasy read, loved the rapport between characters and the world she built, plot was engaging if a little predictable in places but overall enjoyable. Sadly the narrator wasn’t for me, Lettle’s voice was particularly grating and I found myself disliking her character as a result. Likewise the pronunciation of Yeeran sounded a lot like Urine 😂😂

Fab story, narrator not for me

I enjoyed the story. Performance was good, although some of the accents did annoy me slightly. Not sure I will continue the series as it was a little slow in places and made some big leaps which felt jumbled.

Good story

Where do I start with this one???

I loved this. I knew I’d like it, but I didn’t expect to LOVE it.

There is two main characters in this book but they’re actually both interesting and captivating???

Groundbreaking.

Usually I’m groaning when I get to the other POV chapter and wishing it was shorter so I can get back to the plot line I care about. None of that here!

The characters are interesting and flawed and three dimensional.

The world is vast and mysterious and in a never ending war AND full of legendary/misunderstood creatures that are just chefs kiss.

Also, this is TWISTYYYYYY.

I’m so excited for book two. This was a great read!

This original story of fae, elf, & human was so enchanting. It’s magical, seductive, and charming. I enjoyed the read but really struggled with the narration, especially the voice the actor used for Lettle, the younger sister. Unfortunately I feel like this largely affected my ability to form a connection with her, and so some of this story fell flat for me.

Great book, terrible narration.

Definitely thought it would have been better, probs wouldn’t recommend. Waste of money tbh don’t bother

Meh

Too much of the story wasted trying to project irrelevant sex scenes that added little to the tale.

Screechy voice over

I really didn't like the performance. It put me off the book. However the story telling was also painfully slow and I struggled to finish this book.

Slow and a poor performance
