About this listen
Where did mankind really come from? Why are we here? We can't understand the past until we embrace the future. These critical mysteries take center stage as Earth emerges into a galactic society that is far more perilous than anyone could have imagined. Our history is far more complicated than we could have known. Can a few brilliant minds find a way out for Earth?
One saving grace is that there are those who believe ancient clues foretell that Earth has a destiny, and if we can survive our present difficulties, we might just find out what that destiny is....
Dr. Mark Spencer was a young, up-and-coming history and anthropology professor who was all too familiar with what happens to less advanced civilizations when suddenly exposed to others of considerably higher technology. There's only one survivor, and the culture witnessing magic isn't it. When modern-day Earth suddenly finds itself on the losing end of that proposition, a team of the world's best scientists is put together to find a solution. Of course the advanced society being friendly, Earth's citizens uniting, and the world's politicians working together for the common good would help tremendously, but...what if none of that were true?
©2015 William Lee Gordon (P)2015 Podium AudioNow the story itself is absolutely brilliant! Ive always been fascinated by the real world similarities between our ancient culture and this ties them all together so well. Definitely moving on to book 2.
Absolutely brilliant.

Two hours left and I’m going to have to tap out I’m afraid. Moderate interest in the outcome non withstanding.
I’ve eminent respect for anyone who has the get together to toil over and then complete a novel so I’m not going to cast any aspersions on the author.
What I did do however is bookmark many passages like the following one.
“Look Hiromi, with me it’s simple. I love women, I love everything about women…
(So let’s list the best things about women shall we?)
…”From their nurturing and empathetic nature to their aggressiveness to be taken seriously. I especially love the female form. The curves on the back of your calf, the shape of your butt even the lines of a woman’s shoulder. And the really best part (and it really is!) is that no 2 women are the same….Some women have breasts that are pert and strong that I love massaging and kissing while others are heavy enough that I can put my hands under them and cradle the weight”!
Conversations of this nature are regular if not always so crude and rarely relevant to the plot.
Every single female character/conquest is objectified to the point it becomes a ridiculous male egocentric drag.
If you have a mother, a sister, a daughter or a wife, a girlfriend, fiancée an aunty or any female friends that you have any modicum of respect for, I’d suggest you keep scrolling!
From an male perspective without doubt the most painfully sexist book I’ve ever encountered

Avoid

There is more to the story I am sure but every time it veers off into authors sexist diatribes I cringe. Eventually enough!
