About this listen

Seven delightful stories from the inimitable Dr. Seuss!

The amazing stories are full of typical Seuss humour, rhyme and rhythm. They include 'The Bippolo Seed,' in which a scheming cat leads an innocent duck to make a bad decision; 'The Rabbit, the Bear, and the Zinniga-Zanniga,' about a rabbit who is saved from a bear via a single eyelash; 'Gustav the Goldfish,' about a fish that grew and grew; 'Tadd and Todd,' a tale about twins; 'Steak for Supper,' about fantastic creatures who follow a boy home in anticipation of a steak dinner; 'The Strange Shirt Spot,' about a spot of dirt that gets everywhere; and 'The Great Henry McBride,' about a boy whose far-flung career fantasies were bested only by those of Dr. Seuss himself.
The perfect book for any Seuss fan, young or old!

Our children (6 and 4) loved these lively Dr Seuss rhymes. I have to admit that I enjoyed them too. David Walliams' performance is brilliantly entertaining.

Very entertaining

I have to say, my kids love this audiobook and ask for it often as it's the only Dr Suess book we could find in the UK. I hate listening to it because of David Walliams's terrible reading, which completely ruins the genius rhythm of the Suess rhymes and uses incredibly annoying voices - luckily for them, my 5-year-olds haven't yet cottoned onto this!

Terrible performance but the kids love it

David Walliams' style isn't everyone's cup of tea, and it turns out it isn't mine.

I'm not all that familiar with Dr Seuss's work but we have a Telegraph recording of some of his more well known works. These stories seem to contain ideas used in other books but aren't as well known as those books and hence have been quietly forgotten about (although this is pure conjecture).

I think my money could have been better spent.

A bit of a disappointment really
