Lovely gentle funny audiobook, very well narrated, I loved this book much more than I expected and listened to it in a couple of sittings

I really enjoyed this book and the narrator. It wasn’t one of those stories that finish abruptly unlike some authors. It covers many historical, current and future aspects of the main characters life which gives you a feeling of knowing her. Excellent, will definitely buy another book by the same author and in hope that it is as good.

This book was awesome! So lighthearted but full of emotion and depth of feeling! I can't describe it properly. All that I can say is that it has left me with a big fat smile on my face! Also while listening to it I laughed out loud a couple of times especially at the end. I loved it.

This I found by chance and absolutely loved! I’ve got through it in 3 days and whilst you feel you know where it’s going it isn’t any the less engaging for that. The reader brings all the characters to life really well and is easy in the ear.
It has a number of Richard Curtis references and would make an intelligent Rom Com which would transfer easily to screen.
The protagonist is very likeable and you invest in their story. Great holiday listen or just if you need a bit of a lift. There is depth too and I shed a few tears at points however the over all feel good factor and great storytelling meant that I would look at other books by the same author and reader.

I love this author as everything she writes is an easy, uplifting read. This book makes you laugh and is the perfect remedy for when you’re needing to switch off from the world. The main character becomes one you want to be friends with and the ending will make you smile. Enjoy!
