The legion recruited widely from soldiers left unemployed and homeless by the defeat of Germany in 1945. The great disappointment of this audiobook is the narrator and the fact that it is only half the book. he has no sense of flow,structure, frequent pauses and monotone speech. in other words it feels like someone is just reading the book without any care or effort, there is no passion and due to this it makes the audiobook difficult to listen to, as all the characters sound the same,people,places and objects are blandly spoke about without any places and as such then lack significant.
I plan on writing to the publisher and
leaving a complaint that such low quality was put into this book,.

As a veteran legionnaire I found this book embarrassing and totally fictitious and yet isn’t listed under fiction, why ?
Please don’t waste your credits or money on this garbage.

A book that I was looking forward to completely ruined by the narrator. Trying to do different accents made it unbearable to listen to. You think I’ll buy it and read it myself. Very disappointed.
