About this listen

Rosie

I was eight when Nathan moved away.

He was my best friend.

My only friend.

My safe space.

And then he was gone. And my life turned into Hell.

But I survived.

I broke free and made a life for myself.

And I tried to forget about the boy who grew up to be Nate Waller, the famous retired football player.

I really did try to forget.

But then I opened the door, while working at a client’s house, and he was there. Standing before me.

My old friend.

My unwitting confidant.

My Nathan.

Except… he doesn’t recognize me.

Nate

The curvy little redhead captured my attention the second I saw her.

And I knew I needed to have her.

Needed to know her better.

Needed to get my hands on her.

But when I did.

When she moaned my name. My full name. It all came rushing back.

Twenty-five years had passed, but in that moment I finally recognized her.

My Rosie.

My childhood friend.

I may have forgotten about her. But I remember now.

And this time I’m not letting her go.

Wonderful story

I loved this heartfelt story and the well rounded, convincing characters. Above all I loved the narration and sensual and sensitive voice of Christian Fox

Fun listen

I can honestly say that this story offers the most down to earth, well-adjusted, understanding, kind-hearted, baggage-free, nice/regular guy with zero ego issues retired pro-athlete, in the history of romance novels. And if that's not surreal enough, he's narrated by the awesome sauce that is Christian Fox -- who will absolutely make your day with lines like "Now is a time for sugary pillows of joy!"

loved the narration but loved book 1 a little more. Wasn't completely sold on the male casted for narration but this might be because I love to listen to Jacob Morgan.

Gorgeous audiobook

I have read this book but was keen to hear the audiobook as it brings the characters to life. This did not disappoint- the actors portray Nate and Rosie so well. Loved this and will definitely relisten

It got me 😭

I loved it, I knew it was going to be emotional but not as emotional as to make me cry for the last part of the book. The narrators did a fantastic job in conveying those emotions. I was rooting for Rosie and Nate the entire book and the pay off was worth it.

Also, the spice was a cherry on top. Brilliant.
