About this listen

The countdown to Nemesis 3 has begun, pushing humanity closer to the brink of extinction.

James and his team are now Earth's last line of defense amidst the chaos of New York City. But with each Nemesis wave they defeat and each power James unveils, a grim truth unfolds: they're being manipulated.

The enemy not only predicts their actions, it feeds on them. Their struggle may be nothing more than a sinister game or a prelude to annihilation.

To stand a chance, they must rewrite the rules. In the dwindling light of hope, James embraces his role as a leader. Tough decisions, impossible sacrifices, and the weight of the world on his shoulders—he'll face it all.

Anything to break the system.

In Book 1, I found myself blown way by the fantastic narration and brilliant story. I have completed the entire series, and book 2 saw me becoming even more of a fan. What sets this series apart is its clear structure and satisfying conclusion, unlike many others that seem to drag on endlessly. With compelling storytelling and rich characters, this series has become one of my favourites. Rating: 5/5

I had a great time with this book and I can't wait for more. Good story and characters, action packed but not overwhelming. I think is a mast read to for LitRPG fans.

Good LitRPG.

This book is a great sequel, the emotion was there, stakes high and fights were exciting. It was losing me a bit approaching the middle, but the second half of the book (and especially that ending) more than makes up for it.
Taylorson continues to do great work with his narration, that man really has talent for this line of work.
I can tell this is going to develop into a truly amazing series and I'm all in on it. Definetly worth a cred.

Man, that ending was something else.
