Stephanie Cole (Doc Martin), Benedict Cumberbatch, and Roger Allam (The Thick of It) star in the complete second series of the hit sitcom about the pilots of a tiny charter airline for whom no job is too small, but many, many jobs are too difficult.

Run by the forbidding divorcée Carolyn Knapp-Shappey (an unfortunate marriage, namewise, but in Carolyn's opinion, marginally better than Carolyn Shappey-Knapp), her two pilots are the smooth, experienced, and almost-certainly-fired-by-a-big-airline-for-all-around naughtiness Douglas, and struggling, almost competent Martin. All-round help is provided by Carolyn's near-idiot son, Arthur.

There is no greater comedy than Cabin Pressure, I'll never tire of re-listening having listened to the original broadcasts on Radio 4, owned the cd boxset and now streaming on Audible.

The comedy is witty and clever, the acting is top quality, overall it's some of the best comedy BBC radio ever put out, would highly recommend. from the first series all the way to the finale it is a perfect audiobook I will always come back too, some of the episodes are often better than others as it goes but that might be from my own personal opinion, give it a try from the first one and I'm certain you'll be hooked in

I rarely buy comedy programmes that one could at times re-heard on BBC7 replay - but Cabin Pressure is so delightful that I downloaded it for a long drive over the Xmas period as a special treat!! It did not fail me and we arrived at our destination positively fizzing !

Would you consider the audio edition of Cabin Pressure: The Complete Series 2 to be better than the print version?

This is an enjoyable comedy, the writing is good, but the pleasure is also in timing and performance of the actors.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I do not have a favourite character. The chemistry between the characters is entertaining and how they compliment each other, it would not work without any of them.

If you are bored with out end there is no way better than to listen to than cabin Pressure . A great opportunity to laugh is in cabin pressure .
