About this listen
Twelve-year-old Carl Hunter has been snatched at gunpoint from his home on Jersey. He and his kidnapper have vanished without a trace. Enter Ben Hope, now working freelance to rescue kidnapped children. But as Ben begins his search for Carl, he soon discovers that nothing about this case is as it seems. Too short and feeble storyline.

¡increíble!

I do prefer the other later narrators (Colin Mace & Will Ryctoft), and as with the other short story & more so in this one, the narrator (L Pugh), makes Ben Hope sound like a rasping unfeeling nutter ... which he isn’t... Only personal preference I guess.
Good short story

Colin Mace is the best Performer as Ben Hope.

Another Great Short Story
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
The narrator was disappointing & did not understand Ben Hope's character. Ben, through the narrator's performance, was shown as angry, dismissive; aloof & abrupt even in his interactions with Karl.
I would re-record using Will Rycoff or Colin Mace. Their depiction of Ben Hope captures the essence of the character.
Good storyline but spoilt by the narrator

So glad this was free; would have been raging if I had paid for it.
