If you love French cuisine then this is just the audible for you! The author's attention to detail in the menus is indeed mouth-watering! The reader was excellent. In this book we learn a lot about the main character's somewhat complex past, and how he decides to move forward in a positive way.An enjoyable audible.

another brilliant read/listen Peter Forbes is just the best narrator for everyone of Peter May's books. I'm an avid listener and have gone through every one ever written. Bravo.

As always Peter Kay weaved his magic and had me completely transfixed from beginning to end. I love his characters and that lovely Scottish accent of Peter Forbes. Often it feels like I'm listening to poetry when he describes a scene or a person. There are twists and tension throughout. I like that the family dimensions and people within them are flawed just as in real life.

I am loving these books right now and the performance of the narrator makes it for me too. My only 1 little issue is that Enzo seems to always have to have a woman that is listing after him or that he is chasing. Would like it if he isnt like a dog on heat in one of the books. Apart from that I have enjoyed each one so far.

Another enjoyable and interesting instalment as Enzo Macleod solves old cases whilst trying to remain alive as he gets closer to solving each of the cold cases in a book written by a journalist.
Excellent narration.
Highly recommend this book.
