Loved this book really practical :)
Elizabeth Gilbert has such an amazing voice, I could listen to her all day, I loved this book, she gives many practical examples of not getting stuck and getting back into the creative space :)

A Great Reminder

Beautifully read

Incredible book for anyone invested in creative living
This book couldn’t have come at a better time. Lockdown was hard on my creative thinking. I felt a lot of fear and self doubt, as did my family members and students. This book and Liz’s reassuring voice guided me at some of the most difficult times. I’ve recommended it to everyone I know; it made me laugh, cry and importantly left me feeling inspired and ready to play with creativity again!

Truly magical
Just the shift in perspective anyone trying to overcome any fear about practicing any art or craft needs. No matter what your issue with creativity Ms Gilbert will address it calmly, lovingly, understandably and in a way that touches the soul.
Any time while listening to this I would start to form a question in my head, she was already answering it by the time I realised I was even asking it. I felt as though she was really in my head, guiding me gently through something. A transformation, maybe.
Also, to anyone who enjoyed this book, I would recommend giving the author's podcast by the same name (Big Magic) a listen.

Just what I needed
This was recommended to me by a friend around the time I started the first draft of me first book, but I didn't read it for a while. After a long slump I read it and started to write again.
