Really enjoyed the book - I wasn’t sure at first with the narrator doing all the different voices but I quickly got used to it and thought the story was great 😊

This offering from Audible is another excellent book in the La Plante Anna Travis series, and as always, this actor performs the characters excellently. However, Langton is still a boorish, bullying bore. I may be in the minority, but I can’t stand him, and I’m glad Anna finally stood up to him.

Some good twists. Sometimes the narration is a little mundane but the characters are well acted

A long tale

Sometimes burying the pain and carrying on can work but having someone around who understands makes all the difference, when you are determined to carry on, and deny the truth to yourself. Being a good detective doesn't mean you are invincible.

I admire how the author can hold the audience whilst weaving a tale of human efforts and foibles.

Didn’t think I would like Anna Travis having grown op with ájame Tennison but she’s grown on me! Pity her personal life is a mess! Great series and narration
