I didn't know this author but after listioning to this book I'm now a fan . What a great read with an unusual twist in the tail. I will be looking forward to the next in the series

This was a twisted story in more than a couple of ways. But you will have to read it to find out.
I enjoyed getting to know the main detective and her family. The characters were well fleshed out, and she seemed real enough, although her husband was a little too perfect.
I was happy that there were not any loose ends.
If you hanker for gritty, quite graphic crime novels, then this one's for you.
The narration was also very good.

I have to admit that it took a couple chapters for me to get used to the narrators accent and manner but I did…and she was pretty good it turned out.
Really good story I felt.
I gasped several times whilst listening… Shall explore this author again
