I NEVER do spoilers in my reviews !!!! So can,t go into too much detail.......BUT, suffice to say that this book is an EPIC FINALE, to the Rage War Trilogy !!! I feel also that the ending has definitely left the door open for follow-on books !?!
I am a HUGE Fan of Tim Lebbon, from these Alien storyline books, to his Star Wars books & if course his Own fantasy books (*like "The Fallen" !!) And I look eagerly forward to future books by him !!!
John Chancer is a FANTASTIC Narrator, & was possibly the best choice for this Trilogy, his voice changes for the different characters was excellent & really helps define each character in the book !! I will definitely look for more books that he has narrated in future purchases !!!!
This is NOT a stand-alone novel, the preceding books are a MUST in order to enjoy them all to Their fullest !!!
This Trilogy is also a MUST, for Fans of either the Alien storyline &or Predator storyline !!!! And I leave desperately hoping for more................

story a little repetitive in places but well read and held my attention, a great trilogy of books to add to the Alien universe with new concepts due to its time period setting - a number of centuries on from Aliens etc.

Story was excellent, unfortunately the narrator seemed to dig himself a hole he couldn’t get out of the more characters were introduced and by the 3rd book the voices were all over the place and actually comical, which completely messed up any tension created.
