About this listen
The Dungeon falls silent. The trumpets of war sound nearer. The walls of our reality tremble.
Matt and many of his people are alive, and they've found a new ally, more or less, but the damage done to the dungeon and its future are beyond measure.
Time and great effort are needed to repair the cracks, to seal the warping and to rebuild, but the world after the fall isn't somewhere anyone can afford to wait around in. Matt and his people must push on, they must grow, they have to rise up if they are to have any chance of surviving, after all; The Nexus Gates are opening, and those that were hoped to be allies, or even one day friends, are not to be trusted . . .
Visitors will be coming soon, and who knows if a hand offered in friendship, hides a dagger . . . or a claw.

Great addiction moves the story on

As an example, any random person who knew incinerate could have infiltrated and roasted Matt's brain in an instant, chances being especially high with teaching magic to be a focus for this book, yet it was never considered even once. No background checks or anything from John for example.
Even kids or just regular people learning magic (I can't remember if there were age restrictions in place by the system) could cause trouble if they knew a spell and had an in-the-moment tantrum.
On that note, a mention of people focusing on defensive magic, hardlight or whatever else would go a long way for me in the next book; make it feel more real. It could also make sense with the spacecraft being a thing in the future, and those shield users being technicians or whatever in the ships, specialising in the defence of it (not sure how all that's going to be integrated with user skills and the ships themselves)
As a community, getting their information written down in pamphlets, documents or however feasible would be nice too; would save the same speeches from being repeated over and over again. It would allow for rules to be shown, monster information to be displayed and researched or added to. I have to imagine they have the means somehow by this point, even if things are still hectic.
The narration was perfect as usual, no complaints
And as a final note, the ending was cruel and I can't wait for the next book!
