Ok I guess if you are at the point of approaching middle age with small children. I just heard over sensitive self obsessed drivel. The storyline is not big or clever and drones on back and forth between a couple that keep misunderstanding each other. Aaah let me out. I got out and have returned title without finishing it. The narrator has a particular heavy sarcastic style that could indicate she was bored reading it.

I really like this sequel, it gives us the continuation of the love story that started in Ralph’s Party.

Loved it from start to finish. I am hooked on Lisa Jewell and am working my way through all her audio books in order. Absolutely brilliant.

This book treads the path through life with the characters with whom you fell in love with in the first book. I felt like I was revisiting my own younger self, reminiscing and empathising with Jem. Loved it x

I only just read Ralph's Party. I loved it, so was ready for the sequel. Excellent, highly recommended. Not every fan of Lisa's domestic suspense and thriller style books will necessarily enjoy these early Lisa Jewell novels, but I personally did. It depends upon whether you like the genre, which is more on the chick lit side.

I was unsure whether to listen to this book as there had been a number of poor reviews however I decided to listen to it straight after reading the first book. I loved it and couldn’t wait to have time to listen again.

story of the book was really good. reader was good but quite irritating when trying to do all different accents (especially that of Scarlett)
