Very fun book, with an interesting take on super powers. Kinda a cross between Japanese/ Korean manga and western superhero stuff, I enjoyed it a lot and will be listening to book 2 as well.

I really don't know how Seth Ring does it. I've read every series he's written except one as I don't like the narrator. They're all awesome but this book and the Iron Tyrant are just another level....

I know this story will make me wanting for more ... I just hope it will not be squandered on useless girl bosses and pronouns just to pounder to people who will never appreciate the true imagination and craftsmanship put into the story itself. I do not need to identify with any of the characters to like them, to want to see them succeed and become the epitomy of strive and betterment. I do not need to be the same skin clr, race to root for their success and enjoy their journey. You are an amazing author and I hope you will stick to your guns.
We pick our heroes through their actions and their struggles. We love our epic stories for a reason also.

Right from the start of this story I was hooked. A totally brilliant take on a litrpg. It’s was well paced and builds progressively. Can’t wait to listen to book 2.
