a modern adaptation, it was nice to have the full cast performance of this iconic american play from the 40s. the story is not an easy one, it has some dark themes, this is one play trying to include a lot with its complex characters and the relationships between them in a very short set of scenes.

A brilliant production of an old classic. I could picture every scene from the voices and background sounds. Great focus on the emotions of the female lead characters. Superb acting from all, but especially Blanche.

An interesting listen- plot/characters/performance are all strong. Rated 3 stars simply for the audible experience- it was difficult to follow when characters talked over each other and during the more intense scenes as it wasn’t clear who was there/what was happening. As an audible experience, the ending seems very abrupt and I imagine it would be difficult for someone visiting the play for the first time to work out what happened!

timeless story. Prior to reviewing this, I had only seen the original film starring Marlon Brando. both are classics but I prefer this 👍
