About this listen

A new war has broken out...Indian ships have invaded three British-held systems, and Indian troops have occupied British colonies, forcing Britain to choose between war and shame. The Royal Navy, battered by the fires of the First Interstellar War and desperately trying to recover from the terrifying casualties, must launch a counterattack and recover the colonies. For HMS Warspite - and a task force of British warships - the stakes have never been so high. If the Royal Navy loses, Britain will be humiliated, and the global power system will shift catastrophically, but even victory may come with too high a price. Pushed to the limits, the Royal Navy must take the offensive and determine the outcome quickly...before the Indian gambit triggers a civil war that will rip the human sphere apart.

Don’t try and say that the paras are ‘Almost’!!as tough as the marines. The Falklands finished that old argument once and for all. Obviously written by a navy man. Thanks

Unlike several World War II source books I’ve seen recently there is no navelgazing no contemplation of one position in space it’s just a good Yarm and particularly enjoyed whilst the lunatic Putin was invading Yugoslavia

Proper navel adventure!

Very good story it as good as the Ark Royal and universe is getting more and more interesting. I like characters and the plot. And it's very well readed. Can't wait until next book. I don't regret mine pre-order: credit well spend. PS. At certain point of the book I just wanted to read more and stay until 3am... It's been a long time since a book done something like that to me ;)

As good as Ark Royal.
