About this listen
This audiobook tells the true story of a family's pain as several harrowing events unfold.
A grandmother so selfish she lost everything over one man's sick pleasure.
A father who will stop at nothing to keep his own dark secrets from getting out.
The loving mother so broke down in life she questions her own sanity.
The cries that could not be heard.
The beatings that could not be stopped.
The teachers who got it all wrong.
The twisted friend.
The beast that none stopped.
©2020 Craig Proctor (P)2020 Craig ProctorThe trauma that Callum endured was brutal and truly heinous. The courage he has shown in writing this book is astounding and I feel privileged to have heard his story.
There is a lot of very sensitive and triggering detail throughout the book. This is something to bare in mind before embarking on Callum's harrowing journey. I admit that I found it to be quite challenging with my personal history, but I am so glad that I stuck with it. The ending is exactly what I had hoped to hear.
Emotional, shocking and courageous.
