Tracey's work centers around inspiring mid-career women executives to embark on a leadership journey culminating in a role in the C-suite and a seat in the boardroom. She focuses on empowering women with the courage to dream big, provide strategies to chart a path forward, and perspective on how their success can blaze a trail for future generations of women leaders. Her goal is that each woman feels as though they have been tapped on the shoulder to say, “You can achieve this”—just as her mentors once did for her —motivating more women to answer the call to leadership with an emphatic “Yes!” She is the author of the new book, Hers for the Taking: Your Path to the C-Suite an Beyond, which inspires more women leaders to aspire early on in their careers to reach the top in their careers, while also giving the reader the tools, strategies and best practices to achieve their goal. Tracey serves on the board of five companies, to include Sailpoint, Highspot, DataRobot, Druva and Deepwatch. She is also an advisor for Blackrock's Long Term Private Capital Group. Tracey is the former president of Informatica, where she served as a member of Informatica’s board of directors for two years, prior to being asked to join Informatica’s management team. As president of Informatica, Tracey was responsible for global sales, marketing, sales operations and customer success. Prior to joining Informatica, Tracey was EVP of global field operations at Proofpoint. Recognized as a Top 100 Sales Leader by The Modern Sale, Proofpoint underwent a five-year period of hypergrowth, becoming a top five leader in the cybersecurity market. Before Proofpoint, Tracey was EVP of global sales at Polycom. She has also held sales leadership positions at Juniper Networks, Webex, and Cisco Systems. During her tenure at Cisco, Tracey was recognized by the organization Women Worth Watching. Tracey also serves on the board of 4Word, a nonprofit focused on helping women to reach their God given potential. She is also an advisor for Bridge2Rwanda (B2R), focused on solving the digital divide, and also works with B2R Farms which is focused on conservationist farming.
