Professor, School of Law, Meiji University Director, Institute for Law and Language Science Areas of Expertise: Sociolinguistics, theoretical linguistics, psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, forensic linguistics, and communication studies. Professor Hotta conducts interdisciplinary research that integrates insights from linguistics, psychology, law, and neuroscience, focusing particularly on communication within legal contexts. His work applies these combined perspectives to analyze how language functions in legal settings. Publications and Activities: In addition to authoring academic books, Professor Hotta has published numerous general interest, business, and language-learning books based on insights gained through research.
