Suzy Vitello's stories have won several awards, including The Atlantic Monthly's Student Writing Award and an Oregon's Literary Arts Fellowship. Kirkus Reviews has called her latest novel, BITTERROOT, "... a gripping and emotionally intelligent tale of resentment and loss." Her work has appeared in national journals and her young adult novels, THE MOMENT BEFORE (January 14th, 2014), and THE EMPRESS CHRONICLES BOOK ONE (September 4th, 2014), and THE KEEPSAKE (EMPRESS CHRONICLES BOOK TWO) are available in e-book and paperback.
