Born in Southern California, Starr was the oldest of her parents two children. Starr was raised by her great grandparents who instilled in her a strong work ethic. Starr met her future husband in her early teens, they got married and started a family young. In the mid 2000's after their youngest child of four was born, they moved their family to central Texas, where they still reside today. Starr has been a stay-at-home mom for more than twenty years, homeschooling for the past five of those. In early 2019 Starr and her husband welcomed their first grandchild into the world. Starr has always been a veracious reader and eventually her love for reading turned into a passion for writing.
