About the Author Morgan Hunt has been around dogs since before she could spell “sit.” She raised her first pup at the age of two (with a little help from the adults, of course) and never looked back. Over the years, she’s raised, trained, and spoiled more dogs than she can count—and loved every muddy, slobbery minute of it. A firm believer that good food equals a long, happy life (for both dogs and humans), Morgan turned her passion for pups into a mission: helping pet parents ditch the mystery meat and feed their dogs meals that are fresh, balanced, and tail-waggingly good. When she’s not in the kitchen whipping up homemade dog food or hiking with her four-legged sidekicks, you’ll find her trying to explain to her dogs that, no, they still can’t have the couch.
