Michael Maisey was born and raised in Isleworth, London, where he became one of the city’s most prolific young offenders. Spending his teenage years in Feltham Young Offenders Institute, locked up for 23 hours a day, his life took a pivotal turn after a raid on his local corner shop went awry. Overcoming significant childhood trauma, Michael has transformed his past challenges into a foundation for helping others. Today, over two decades later, Michael is a TEDx speaker, a multiple award-winning author of Young Offender, and a respected coach guiding individuals from all walks of life to fulfil their potential in work, family, and personal life. As the founder of The CIP Project, a non-profit organization based at a 25-acre retreat centre in Devon, he significantly impacts lives. Alongside his work at CIP, he collaborates with various organizations across the UK, Ireland, and Europe, collectively supporting around 2,000 individuals each year with his life-changing methods. Michael has been sober since 2007 and has since trained in and practiced healing and personal self-development in many different disciplines, including coaching, shadow work, breathwork, cold water therapy, sweat lodges, and his own method called emotional processing. Michael's business in Isleworth, Oakhill, has won multiple awards, demonstrating his dedication to excellence. Today, he resides in Devon with his wife, Sacha, and their children, where he continues to guide others in transforming their lives through his personal and professional endeavours. Michael's work is a testament to the power of resilience and the possibility of redemption.
