Michael Joseph Donohue (b. September 1, 1961, Renfrew, Ontario) is a Canadian author, philosopher, and advocate for global peace. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Waterloo (1985), and over the years has held management roles across diverse industries—experience he draws on to explore the human condition and the structures that shape our world. Michael is the father of three—David, Jasmine, and Jamie, whom he has not seen since losing their custody. That profound loss has deeply informed both his personal journey and his work. His lifelong passion for ending hunger and fostering harmony led him to develop the Infinite Verse Theory, a philosophical framework that posits every possible reality exists in its own universe. According to this view, the multiverse is infinite and predetermined, yet our individual choices and attitudes determine which reality our consciousness inhabits next. Michael’s writing—most notably his latest book, Cooperation: A Game Everyone Wins—blends clear-eyed management insight with big-picture vision. He believes that by reimagining our economic and social systems around cooperation rather than competition, we can resolve many of the world’s most intractable problems within a generation. His work challenges readers to consider not only what is, but what could be, when humanity chooses to play as a team.
