Mark W. Hallink is a seasoned executive with over three decades of experience in owning and running his own business. He founded his company at age 23 in 1988 and grew it from a one-man operation to a leader in the food and beverage industry, serving clients in 24 different countries worldwide. Mark sold his business in 2020 after 32 years of dedicated leadership. He holds an Honours degree in psychology from The University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. Mark's career has spanned various functions, including product development, marketing, team-building, and corporate strategy. He is renowned for his strategic vision, leadership in driving innovation and growth, and his commitment to quality of service, as well as sustainable business practices. His contributions to both industry and academia have been recognized with several nominations and awards, including the Top 40 under 40 businesses in Canada, the Technology Leadership Award for Excellence in Innovation, and a Certificate of Academic Excellence from the Laureates of the Canadian Psychology Association for his work on his Honours Thesis in Psychology. Mark also holds four World titles in the equestrian sport of Cowboy Mounted Shooting. Recently, Mark has begun pursuing a lifelong goal of writing and is currently in the process of retiring to North Florida with his amazing wife, Alice, and his horses, Pumpkin, Spicey, and JG and their dog, Ima.
