Jasveer Singh Dangi is a multifaceted Canadian author, podcast host, behavioral trainer, and award-winning health and safety professional. Born in India, he later moved to Canada, where his life experiences across two cultures have deeply shaped his storytelling. His writing reflects a rich fusion of East and West, skillfully weaving together the essence of both worlds. Literary Career Dangi embarked on his writing journey in 2018 with his childhood memoir, Version One and a Half (Version 1 ½). Since then, he has authored nine books and co-authored two anthologies, showcasing his versatility across various genres. Recently, Jasveer embarked on a new venture in the world of cinema as the producer of the short film ‘Yes Sir’. Centered around the theme of caste bias, the film has garnered widespread acclaim, being showcased at over twenty film festivals across the globe. It earned notable recognition as the third runner-up in the Best Short Film category at the esteemed Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards (DPIFF) in 2024. Professional Background Beyond writing, Dangi has made significant contributions to health and safety training. In 2018, he was honored by the Indian Institute of Safety and Security Management (IISSM) for his dedication to health and safety training. Additionally, he was part of the training team for 22,000 volunteers during the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi. Podcast and Community Engagement Dangi actively engages with the literary community through his podcast, where he interviews authors and professionals, sharing insights into their creative processes and experiences. He also contributes articles and participates in workshops, aiming to inspire and mentor aspiring writers.
