Gigi Meinecke, DMD, is a board certified dentist in Potomac, Maryland. Dr. Meinecke is a Clinical Professor and the Course Director for Facial Injectables at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine. She also has a baccalaureate degree in nursing with experience in cardiac and surgical intensive care. Dr. Meinecke regularly lectures at national conferences and teaches practitioners the art and techniques of facial injectables with a core focus on facial anatomy. In addition to live patient demonstrations and instruction, her courses include cadaver anatomy workshops. She is a member of several national and international organizations and maintains fellowship in: the Academy of General Dentistry, the International College of Dentists, the American College of Dentists. She also maintains membership in the American Dental Association. Over the last 10 years In organized dentistry, she has served and remains active on many national councils and committees. In addition, Dr. Meinecke has chaired the American Dental Association’s Council on Communications. Dr. Meinecke has published many articles on aesthetics and is the author of the book, “Start and Grow Your Cosmetic Injectable Practice.” As a national spokesperson for the Academy of General Dentistry she has appeared on local television and radio, and is a resource and frequent contributor to national media outlets. She has contributed to articles published in: Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Marie Claire, Shape, Medscape, Real Simple and other recognized publications. Dr. Meinecke earned a BSN from the College of New Jersey and completed her Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine.
