Erik de Haan is Director of the Ashridge Centre for Coaching at Ashridge / Hult International Business School near London and Professor of Organisation Development and Coaching at the VU University in Amsterdam. He holds a PhD in Psychophysics, an MA and qualification in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and an MSc in Theoretical Physics. He is also a qualified coach and supervisor and credentialed in the use of several psychometric instruments. He published more than two hundred professional and research articles and sixteen books each in several languages, covering his main fields of expertise as a leadership and organisational consultant, facilitator and coach. He focuses on organisation-development consulting, supervision, action learning, politics and power in organisations, leadership hubris, and emotional aspects of working in teams and organisations.
