Meet author Earl Morrison, the owner of Leading and Learning with Character. Earl started his successful career in law enforcement in 2000. Over the years, he served in various roles, including Chief of Police and Assistant Director of the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training. Before his law enforcement career, Earl was a correctional officer for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. He also served for three years in the U.S. Army and three years in the Texas Army National Guard. Earl has held several leadership positions within the church community as a men's group leader and church Elder, and within the city community as Chairman of the Board for the city's Employee Credit Union. In addition to holding numerous certifications through the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement, he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Lamar University and a Master's in Criminal Justice from the University of Houston. He is a graduate of the Leadership Command College at Sam Houston State University. In 2017, he established his company, Leading and Learning with Character, out of his passion for leadership development. Earl provides leadership training and personal and professional development to organizations and individuals in the United States, conducting trainings at many organizations and to thousands of people online and in person. These trainings are specifically designed to equip people with the expertise needed to lead with confidence and achieve remarkable results in their organizations and personal lives. In addition, Earl is a public speaker and published author. He and his wife Penny, and their four children reside in Oklahoma.
