As a child, Bob played and explored in the marshes and swamps along the river in Milford CT. His imagination soared and was regularly fed by the changing tides and all the critters he saw in the marshes. Fast forward many years and he was Dr. Bob, an orthodontist. One of the best aspects of his practice, in addition to the great smiles, was the interaction with his patients. After he retired, he missed that interaction and fell into story telling about the critters living in the woods and around the pond on his property. They became part of the peaceful, caring community of Pondville. Dr. Bob essentially went full circle, delighting in nature and letting his imagination take him to new places and new friends. The result is Dr. Bob’s Tales, great stories with relatable, lovable characters. And, life lessons thrown into the mix, Dr. Bob is passionate about growing children's interest in reading and fostering a love of reading. His Tales challenge kids and adults to “let your imagination soar and dream big”.
