A U.S. Navy veteran raised in a military family, Douglas has lived and worked in various locations throughout the continental United States, finally settling with his family in Arizona. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, and has held many positions in manufacturing and electric industries, from naval nuclear reactor operator to Senior Reactor Operator. Currently, Douglas works as a supervisor of electric grid operations.
