Dana Buck (1958 - ) was born and raised in Southern California, and lives now in Renton, Washington. Dana became a committed follower of Christ at the age of 18, a decision that has impacted every area of his life. Retiring In 2018 after a 38 years career with the Christian non-profit organization, World Vision, Dana now dedicates his time to writing and sharing his faith based and life affirming "parables." Much sought after as a speaker and devotional leader, Dana also enjoys his longtime volunteer role as a youth leader and mentor in his home church, Renton Christian Center. Dana plans to publish as many as seven volumes of his Sew Powerful Parables. All proceeds from the sale of Dana's books go to the non-profit organization Sew Powerful, dedicated to combating extreme poverty through job training and the creation of "purposeful products" that change lives in the country of Zambia. Dana Has been married to his wife, Grace for over 35 years. He has a son, Jared, a daughter, Alyssa, and son-in-law, Ivan. He and Grace live with their neurotic cat in Renton, Washington.
