Cameron Grant is the pseudonym of David Robertson, a mystery writer who left Scotland to study theatre in the bright lights of London, and ended up working as a Soho croupier in a cowboy outfit. Cameron is passionate about golden age detective fiction and Cluedoesque country houses. His first whodunit DEATH OF A DAME features a locked-room mystery, a copycat killing and some shameless name-dropping. It introduces background actors Rosie and Melvin who use their training - costumes, accents, white wine - to investigate an impossible crime. As a museum and heritage lighting designer, he has lit everything from David Bowie’s costumes to the Magna Carta, via Kylie’s hotpants and the Rosetta Stone. His work has taken him to light around five hundred exhibitions across four continents. When not up a ladder, he lives with his husband in Devon plotting further adventures of Rosie and Mel. You can find him on Facebook, searching for 'Cameron Grant Author'.
