Sometimes I struggle with maintaining pace when listening to books, sometimes taking 2 month breaks. But this, I couldn't bring myself to put down. Beautiful blend of kink and romance, I loved it.

A great book, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it. lots of humour, sweetness, romance, heat and some angst...this book literally has everything you could ever need or want from a romance. A stand-alone story. Fantastic narration by Nick J. Russo

I had a little trouble connecting with Cooper at first, but once I had a better understanding of everything going on in his life it was easier for me to see how happy Trace made him. I’ve always loved a good Daddy/boy dynamic, and the two of them were amazing together once they stopped resisting their chemistry. I thought the pace of their relationship made a lot of sense, and I appreciate that they gave some consideration to the awkward family connection but didn’t spend a ton of time agonizing about what would happen when Cooper’s dad found out. I knew that was going to be one of the biggest relationship hurdles in this story, but after seeing just how well matched Trace and Cooper were as lovers I knew it was worth the drama. I found it really easy to get invested in Trace’s struggling business, and I was happy to see Cooper provide some support for Trace after Trace had been such an integral part of Cooper turning his grades around. Knowing how much Cooper was struggling with his grades, his relationship with his parents, and his chosen career path, it was really rewarding to see how far he came in this book. Everything may not have turned out perfectly, but it was hard to complain about the happy future Trace and Cooper built together.

I loved this book when I read it and listening to it was a pleasure.

DJ Jamison is one of my favorite authors and Nick J. Russo is one of my favorite audiobook performers; I was so excited when I found out that Nick would be doing the audio for this book. He did a great job and when I listened to this, I got even more emotional than I did when I read it.

As I said in my review of the ebook: Daddy/boy books will probably never become my favorite in the MM genre but several of my favorite authors are writing them so I’m going to read them. Having said all of that, I think this is one of the best books I’ve read by DJ Jamison. The writing was smooth and tight with nothing that muddied up the story. It’s a great age-gap book with fairly light daddy kink. My emotions were all over the place with this story. I laughed and I shed a few tears which means I really loved it.

Swiped by My Dad's Best Friend is the first book in the Thrust Into Love series. The series revolves around young men who find their perfect matches through the Thrust app. Cooper, a young college guy, is floundering in college and trying to find an escape and distraction from the stress and pressure. The last thing he expects is to find love with his dad's former best friend. Cue drama, romance, and, most importantly, the self discovery both characters go through which makes them stronger in both their own lives and their relationship. The romance was sweet, and I loved how supportive both characters were to each other.

Nick J. Russo does a FANTASTIC job with the narration. He voiced all the characters so well that I nearly forgot I was listening to an audiobook. I was instantly wrapped up in the story, loving every moment of it. This was a fantastic book that I enjoyed very much.

Story: This book was not what I expected and I am so happy about that! DJ Jamison wrote a beautiful age gap story with Daddy kink that I could not tear myself away from. I am not a huge fan of Daddy kink, but in this story it was a perfect fit for the MCs and was beautifully woven into their relationship. I love how the author approached Cooper's personal development and Trace's influence. Very mature story that I can totally recommend!
Narration: I really liked the performance Nick J. Russo presented in this audio. Very good acting and very easy to follow the story. Good job very well done!

Hot and sweet story of a college boy who finds his daddy when they meet up through a hookup app… I really liked the daddy/boy dynamic between Trace and Cooper – their scenes were steamy and compelling but never ventured toward age play. Perhaps the most rewarding aspect of the story for me is how they managed to take care of each other through personal challenges – Cooper is struggling academically and Trace’s business is experiencing a downturn – while there never being any question about who was in charge. Nick J Russo's amazing talents as a narrator do justice to these characters. An impressive first in a new series!

I love Daddy kink, I love age gap and I love DJ Jamison’s writing style.
Throw in the added bonus of the Dad’s best friend trope and I was in audiobook heaven! Seriously, I devoured this one as fast as real life allowed me to!
The story is sexy and funny, but also sweet, and with an underlying hurt/comfort theme with Trace helping Cooper get out of his head and figure out how to be his best self.
It's quite low-angst, even with Cooper’s father disapproval it never gets unnecessarily dramatic, and it’s really a pleasure to listen to, especially with Nick Russo's wonderful performance!

You really can’t go wrong picking a DJ Jamison title and this one is no exception. Heartfelt, emotional and steamy age gap romance with light daddy kink.

Trace and Cooper are just looking for some fun to blow off steam for one night but they find in each other everything they didn’t know they were missing. I enjoyed the development of their relationship as they navigate the daddy/boy element as well as dealing with all the external issues they faced.

Very much worth a listen.
