Jack Reacher

Once an elite cop, Jack Reacher is now a man with no phone, no address and no ties. Jack doesn’t look for trouble, but trouble always finds him. He solves mysteries, deals it out to the bad guys and doles out rough justice in every town he passes through.

A 36 year old US Army Military Police veteran, Jack is retired at the rank of major. He finds himself drawn to a wandering lifestyle, travelling the US and taking jobs wherever he can find them.

The Jack Reacher stories are a lot more complex than at first glance and are brought to life by narrator Jeff Harding (part of a cast that won a 2019 Audie award for The Man on the Mountaintop). Jack is no 'stick to your guns and get it done action hero' either and often shows an empathetic side capable of genuine sincerity.

Since 1997, when Lee Child published the first Jack Reacher book (Killing Floor), over 100 million books from the series have been sold. Every nine seconds, a Jack Reacher book is sold somewhere in the world.

Hollywood actor Tom Cruise played Reacher in two blockbuster movies released in 2012 and 2016. Together, Jack Reacher and Jack Reacher: Never Go Back have made over $380 million at the box office.
