I've always had an odd and strange life, but I didn't expect it to turn out this way—I'm detective Atlas Jones and I've got a problem—well, two problems; I keep running into two people that show up at my murder cases. I don't think they're involved, because one of them is a friend of Mira Saunders; at least, I saw him at the hospital some months back—he gives me the creeps; he's not alone either, he's got someone with him and the intense look he gives me, makes my body shiver all over—it doesn't help that he's hot, I'm gay and I've been going through a dry spell.

Some time ago, humans…us, made pacts with demons all the time; it’s written in a text somewhere I read. Little did I know, how true that actually was; after getting out of an abusive relationship, I picked up a book at a local library…more out of boredom then anything. I didn’t think reading a few spell words from it, would summon a demon named Dizzin. Aside from the black demon like wings and the horns that jet out of the top of his head, he seems absolutely normal. Problem is, the words I spoke, had somehow made a blood pact with him…what that means…I’m not even sure myself.

He had gotten himself mixed up with some bad supernatural's until he was outed; a demon named Thorne helped save his sister and put them onto a flight away from the chaos. Jesse decided, to protect his sister, he would separate from her; he wasn't human anymore and she was. He felt like a threat to his own family, especially when he didn't know how to control it.

Gabriel Hudson, my savior, isn't letting me leave his mansion and I don't know why; not that I mind all that much. He's got short dark brown hair and the most intense blue eyes I've ever seen—anyone could drown in them. My problem is that he keeps looking at me like I'm a midnight snack; not that I mind a hot guy wanting to hook up with me, but my alarm bells are ringing and I really should listen to them.

Sundown Bowen is the god of light; his brother Shadow...well, pretty obvious, but god of shadows. Sunny would do anything to make sure his brother doesn't fall into the wrong hands, including death; he just doesn't know if he could survive torture.
