Allestiti in teatro, gli audiodrammi permettono agli spettatori - dotati di radiocuffie - di "vedere la radio". Gaia Convento Bruni è una donna con le idee chiare. Si è creata una sorta di mondo perfetto dove gestisce con mano ferma marito e figlio e il ruolo della famiglia in paese. Si ritiene una persona di buon senso e non si ferma di fronte a nulla per impedire che qualcosa possa turbare la quiete della sua esistenza.

L'opera fa parte del progetto "Radiovisione, scena e retroscena radiofonica" diretto da Sergio Ferrentino. "Un radiodramma, a leggerlo, non sa di niente, bisogna ascoltarlo, o meglio ancora vederlo": così è stato allestito al Teatro Gobetti di Torino e il pubblico, dotato di cuffie, ha potuto spiare in diretta attori e rumoristi in scena.
