Story
Apache: A warrior race of people with a history longer than sand has passed through the hour glass of time. The nation's economy, like that of other Indian tribes, was based primarily on hunting and raiding; they were hunters and warriors of the first degree. History says that it was Spanish Conquistadors under the command of Francisco Coronado (1510 - 1554) who first made contact with the Apache and traded with them. The Spaniards referred to the Apache as the "dog people" because they did not have horses and traveled with much of their burdens being carried by dogs described as being white with black or brown spots. Where the Comanche ran up on their enemy shouting and screaming, the Apache took a radical approach of a silent swift attack that his victim did not hear coming.

Story
The tip of Theodocius’ sword glowed a bright yellow, and there was a loud poof as he pointed it. A cloud of smoke rose, and as the smoke cleared, the tree was gone, but Potsy could see an antique vintage stage coach. “Wow!” screeched Zoie as her eyes popped wide. “That is not a stage coach. That’s a princess coach from the days of King Arthur.” “You’re exactly right, girly,” said Theodocius as he put his sword away. “Potsy. You will be the coachman for this trip. Climb up on that seat and take the reins. The rest of you, get inside. We must be going.”

Story
Established by trappers in the 1830s, but popularized in the years 1846-1869, the Oregon Trail and its many offshoots were used by over 400,000 settlers, farmers, miners, ranchers, business owners, and their families. The tribes of the great plains made war with each other and against the immigrants moving west. The United States Cavalry was kept very busy trying to control all the waring among the tribes and predation against the settlers.

That’s exactly why...” Zoie didn’t finish. Her eyes followed Abigail’s finger, and she saw ominous silhouettes against the moon. Large creatures of all descriptions were flying in from the south.

Story
The Nenuphar soldier was nearing his headquarters when his onometer blinked to life. "Robearus," said Lord Drayfus. "That place where you were, the Pecos Mine. It has been discovered that one of our soldiers named Monus is there. He has been a renegade for over eight years. The Great Majesty has tried to recall him, but to no avail. He has been fraternizing with the humans. That's almost as bad a crime as having an Elfin for a friend." "Sir," Robearus spoke into the faceplate of his onometer. "What is it you expect me to do?" "I want you to get him," growled the wizard.
