Steph Hammerman has been motivating herself and others her entire life. Since defying the odds by surviving as a one-pound, fifteen-ounce baby and weeks later being diagnosed with cerebral palsy, to beating Hodgkin's lymphoma stage 3B cancer in 2016, Steph has been a living example of overcoming seemingly insurmountable objects in order to achieve the impossible.

Poetic Madman showcases and celebrates the creativity and the ability to express my innermost thoughts, ideas, emotions, philosophies, and raw experiences that come with having paranoid schizophrenic disorder. Poetic Madman is sure to open the minds of those who don't understand mental illness and hopefully help to dispel some of the stigmas. The purpose is to give the listener a different take on what they understand to be true about the illness. You may even identify with some of the experiences expressed throughout this work of art.

2020 was a hard year for everyone. In this journal, learn how one woman experienced the pandemic while also having to deal with the effects of having bipolar disorder. A little over a year of living with bipolar type one. I ended a year off of medications deeply in love and with a stay in jail for joy-riding and fleeing and eluding. My family suffered, my friends suffered, and I suffered. This is a journal starting after my stay in jail. I respond to the journal entries all the following year, surprised mostly by the degree of my mental illness. This is not a self-help audiobook, and I struggle most of the time, not really coming up with many good solutions to my issues. Nothing about the past couple years has been easy.

Bill Rush lived with a significant disability of quadriplegic cerebral palsy. He did not have use of his arms, hands, or voice. Society’s prejudices proved to be a greater obstacle than his disability in attaining his first life goal of completing college. Rush chronicled his extraordinary life from childhood until graduation from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln in Journey Out of Silence, first published in 1986. This second edition brings back into print Bill's original chronicle. It also contains an introduction to Our Life Our Way, the sequel.
