It’s the last episode of Season 1 of Under Raps, and we’re ending the season off with the warm and excitable Yung Raja.

The conversations centers around Yung Raja’s journey of being a first-gen Singaporean finding his identity here, as well as being a creative multi-hyphenate in a family of traditional South Indians.

We also speak about his inspirations, his craft and how he transitioned from being a struggling actor to the rapper/artist he is today.

Most importantly, we speak about the importance of family, persistence and relationships, and how these factors had played a crucial role in his life thus far.

In this first episode of Under Raps, I speak to a good friend of mine, Sean AKA Bgourd, a young Singaporean hip hop artist that is widely recognised for performing in a full tight green suit.
