Dorian Thompson-Robinson (DTR) made his second straight start, and the results were no better than the week prior. DTR threw for just 170 yards and averaged just 3.6 yards per pass; he also threw an interception, his sixth of the season. What's more alarming is that DTR has just one passing touchdown in his NFL career despite playing in 14 games. If the Browns wanted to determine if DTR would be a part of their 2025 plans, I think they got their answer. With just one game remaining this year and the opponent being the Baltimore Ravens, of all people, who need to win to clinch the AFC North division title, the Browns are more than likely staring a 3-14 season dead in the face. The only positive outcome would be a guaranteed top-three pick in next year's NFL draft. Even with a top-three pick all but secured by the team, many Browns' faithful struggle to have faith in the current regime of Andrew Berry, the GM, making the picks and Kevin Stefanski, the Head Coach, coaching the players. This regime has failed to deliver a team with the talent capable of being a consistent winner, a consistent playoff team, and a team that can compete for a Super Bowl. The harsh reality is that the Browns' ownership is closer to building a Dome to host a Super Bowl than constructing a team that can win one! The Browns still have one game to play, but as we close the calendar year of 2024, there is no doubt that apathy has sat in. That's because the majority of the fan base had high expectations, expectations that the team failed to deliver on, back to the drawing board.
