HC Matt Rhule and the Nebraska Cornhuskers will battle HC Bill O'Brien and the Boston College Eagles in the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl in New York City at Yankee Stadium on December 28, 2024, at 10am MST on ABC. The Huskers played at the old Yankee Stadium in the 1962 Gotham Bowl defeating Miami 36 to 34. This was the Cornhuskers first bowl game victory and led to years of consecutive bowl game appearances through 2016 and five national titles. The Husker fan's feeling of deja vu turned into a nightmare reality as the Iowa Hawkeyes defeated the Nebraska Cornhuskers 13 to 10, the same score and walk-off field goal following a late turnover as last year.
